Membership

 

 Eligibility

 

 

 

Western seniors in their last semester, from Western graduates, and all current or former Western faculty and staff are eligible to join the Detroit Western High School Alumni Association.

 

 

Annual Dues

 

 

A)          Dues of $4.00 a year for Western Students and Graduates under the age of 20 years.

 

B)          Dues of $10.00 a year for Graduates (Alumni) over the age of 20 years.

 

C)          Dues of $10.00 a year for current and former Faculty and Staff.

 

i.             Dues will help cover the costs of the Association and fund the Scholarship Program.  No more than 5% will be used for operating costs, and the remaining 95% will be used for the Scholarship program.

 

ii.            The membership year shall be defined as January 1, through December 31, of any calendar year.

 

iii.             For those financially stressed, this fee can be waived.

 

 

D)          Members are responsible for furnishing their communication information.

For your convenience you can now submit the Application for Membership

to the Alumni Association on-line.

You can also make a contribution to the Schorlarship Fund.

You may do this on-line with a credit card.

If you have submited a form before and are just renewing your membership,

it is only necessary to fill in your name, year of graduation,

and the monetary section of the form.


 

Your membership fee and scholarship donations are tax deductible on your income tax.
