Western High School Trivia

In 1976 the United States of America celebrated its 200th year birthday as a nation.  That is quite an accomplished.  But, did you know that in 1976 it was the 40th birthday of Western High School at its present 1500 Scotten location.  Also, 1976 was the year that the 153rd January Class graduated from WHS.  Sadly, it was the final January class to graduate.  The final commencement was held on the morning of January 22, 1976.  The class motto was; "The ignorant man admires learning.  The business man respects it.  The wise man uses it".  The class colors were light green and dark green.
